I don't get on to share reviews very often but this place really made our hearts happy. We had been traveling in a Semi for several days and really just needed a place to reboot for the night. Little motels sometimes get a bad rap so when we came across one like this, where the owner was SO friendly, helpful and well.. happy we were there... it makes me want to be sure everyone knows about it. Very clean, simple and cozy. If you don't need an over the top, overpriced place to stay, this is a great little gem. Oh! Also... the bed was crazy comfortable and the sheets soft. More comfortable than many of the high end big hotels. That is all. :-)
We found this little gem about 3 years ago when we went to Reno for the first time, than a few weeks later we broke down going back to Reno. We had our baby granddaughter with us and the first thing we did was stay here . I absolutely love the owner, we also met her brother who took the time to sit in the grass and play with Mya. Looking forward to returning this year, and hopefully we will be able to stay a couple of days before we head back to Reno.

We stay here at least 3 times every summer. What a fabulous little gem we have found. The rooms are very clean and the beds and linens are so so comfortable. Amberly always takes great care of us. When we arrive everything is perfect and we get treated like old friends. The hotel is right on Main Street with a grocery store, gas station, cafe, and bar all within walking distance. And it is only a couple miles to the lake. We get to spend the day playing in the water, fishing, boating or soaking up the sun and then return to our room, take a nice hot shower, watch TV in our air conditioned room and get a quiet peaceful sleep. This is MY kind of camping!! Thanks Amberly for always welcoming us back!!!
The owners are super nice. Quaint, quiet, comfortable, and clean 1960s vintage motel located right on Main Street very short walking distance from breakfast, lunch, dinner, and groceries. Just a few hundred yards I-80.
We stayed here last night,it was a huge hit for my little guy when we had 3 nice comfortable beds a huge kitchen,full size fridge and nice clean bathroom. The staff was great to help us decide where to eat and very kind and professional. I would stay here again for sure. Very comfortable and clean. We will be here till checkout
Had a wonderful experience here! The value and hospitality of the people here was amazing, they gave me such a nice and clean room that I honestly feel was double the nightly rate. The people running the place are lovely people. Wouldn't recommend highly enough!
I ended up staying at Blonquist Motel unexpectedly after my truck broke down near Coalville, but I’m really glad I did. The owner is incredibly nice and friendly — made me feel welcome from the moment I arrived. Despite the stressful situation, my stay here turned out to be fantastic. The room was clean, comfortable, and peaceful — just what I needed to rest and recharge. It’s a quiet little spot with a cozy, small-town feel. Highly recommend this place if you're passing through or need a place to stay in the area!
